DECENTRALIZATION PROCESS DERIVES FROM FRAMEWORK AGREEMENT |
Skopje, July 23 (MIA) - Last night riots in Struga will not solve anything, Skopje Mayor Risto Penov said, appealing to citizens to express their dissatisfaction by peaceful protests.
"I wish to be a Mayor of European Skopje and a new draft will lead Skopje citizens to Europe, making the capital of Macedonia one of the European metropolises. I do not think that a referendum may solve territorial organization issues, as the process derives from the Framework Agreement," Penov said, adding that he will run for Skopje Mayor in the autumn elections for a third mandate. lv/lk/17:00 /mia/MTnet/
